The Royale is a medium-sized long wheelbase campervan based on either Renault Trafic or Volkswagen T5 with the options of several different engines and a manual or automatic gearbox. The Royale comes with either a super-flat electrically operated elevating roof or a factory-fitted high top roof. The Royale is available with a roofmounted extra bed as an option giving four berths in total.

The Royale has a choice of either two single beds or a double. There is a split galley in the middle of the vehicle with a glass lidded sink, a hob, grill, oven and fridge freezer. The Royale also benefits from a spacious private rear bathroom complete with an electric flush cassette toilet, mirrored vanity unit and
washbasin (with optional shower).

Storage is plentiful with lots of overhead cupboards (high top), a rear wardrobe and
storage under the rear seats. The Royale is equally at home in your local high street
carrying out the weekly shop or exploring exciting new-found places.

The new Royale has the space and muscle to handle all that life requires with ease, and ease is the operative word. At the heart of the new Danbury Royale is the strength of one of the most advanced diesel engines in the business. Look at the torque figures for the 1.9dci common rail diesel which powers the Royale - a thumping 240m.kg DIN at a mere 2000 rpm (also available is a 2.5 Turbo Diesel engine developing 140bhp! The 2.5 model is also available with an automatic gearbox) – and it is clear that this power plant delivers generous helpings of low end pulling power needed for effortless driving enjoyment.

The benefits delivered by the common rail diesel technology doesn't end there either. The new engine's matched to either a new six speed gear box or an optional automatic gearbox – allowing relaxed and economical motorway cruising combined with exceptionally low in-cab noise levels.

Best of all perhaps - The new 1.9dci engine shows the opposition a clean pair of heals when it comes to overall operating costs. Combined fuel consumption is a remarkable 38.2 mpg, emission levels are lower than those of its rivals, and a 4E insurance rating is also the lowest in its class. Add to all that - Service intervals which are now set at 18,000 miles or two years plus a three year/ 60,000 mile warranty, three year road side assistance, twelve year anti-corrosion warranty and you have to agree that the Renault Trafic is not just hard to beat, its impossible to beat. The Danbury Royale Twin

This model has 4 forward facing seats with 3 point seat belts so you can carry a total of 4 people, it has a generously equipped kitchen area comprising hot & cold water, compressor fridge, glass lidded sink, glass lidded cooker with 2 burner hob, grill and oven. Storage is plentiful with overhead storage cupboards and a large over cab storage locker and storage space under the 2 rear seats. The “Royale” has modern recessed halogen lighting, complimented by strip lights mounted in the roof. The front seats both swivel, to face the rear seats, a free standing, removable table can be used on both dinettes. The furniture throughout the “Royale” is in a traditional light wood finish, with black, rolled edged work tops. The flooring is in matching wood effect, hardwearing vinyl

Bed making is a delight just fold down the individual forward facing rear beds, insert an infill cushion, swivel the front seats to face the rear and job done!.
This leaves a central isle so as to be able to access the kitchen and bathroom with the beds made. A large bathroom is supplied with a foldable door to create privacy and includes a large mirrored bathroom cabinet, large storage units & wardrobe and an electric flushed, cassette toilet. (An optional shower is available for this area).

The Danbury Royale Double

This model has a side facing comfortable settee positioned behind the drivers seat, that easily coverts to a double bed, there are overhead storage cupboards along both sides and a large over cab storage locker, there is also a large storage area under the settee. The near side mounted generously equipped kitchen has, a glass lidded 2 burner hob with grill and oven, a glass lidded sink with hot & cold water, under worktop cupboards and ample worktop with an extra hinged worktop to create more preparartion space by the side loading door.

The furniture throughout, The “Royale” is in a traditional light wood finish with black, rolled edge, worktops. The flooring is in a matching wood effect, hard wearing vinyl.

A large bathroom is supplied with a foldable door to create privacy and includes a large mirrored bathroom cabinet, large storage units & wardrobe, an electric flushed, cassette toilet. (An optional shower is available for this area).

Furniture:
Kitchen units are finished in marine grade, moisture resistant traditional light wood finish. Black rolled-edged work tops are also fitted as standard.

Upholstery:
Front and rear seats upholstered in either a standard Danbury modern hard wearing fabric or the choice of a large range of optional fabric or leather interior finishes to suit all tastes. Silver screens are supplied for the front of the car and quality lined curtains are also fitted to the sides and rear.

Flooring:
Wood effect vinyl flooring is fitted as standard.
